Dear Mr. Mark Mcdonald of the NY Times:
I read your story 'Sri Lankan Troops Breach Rebel Haven' on April 20, 2009. Thank
you for reporting the suicide attack by the Tamil Tiger Terrorists on the people
escaping the fighting. The Sri Lankan army has done an incredible job of
securing civilians from the Tigers as shown in the real-time video from
unmanned drones. The LTTE front Tamilnet that you listed as 'pro-rebel Web
portal' is well known to doctor images and invent absolutely non-existent
civilian casualties, all conveniently blamed on the Sri Lankan government. We
find it disturbing that this Tiger terror front is
used at all by respected journalists like you.
The Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and others, who have
criticized the Sri Lankan government for false artillery barrages "that
have taken a heavy toll on the civilian population" were pushed to do
so by the LTTE Terrorists to slow or stop the Army's advance. If the
Tamil Tiger Terrorists really cared about the civilians, why keep them
as hostages and not release them to safe areas. What bothers me most
is that we continue to fall for the fraud of the Tiger Terrorists,
over and over again. As you know, these statements "The United Nations
said at least 4,500 civilians have been killed since the first of
the year, with some 12,000 injured. On March 23, Human Rights Watch
reported that at least 2,700 civilians had been killed in the no-fire
zone this year", have never been backed by real evidence on the
ground. The figures were invented by the LTTE lobby and fed to the UN, HRW and the media.
If you are the LTTE cornered by democratic forces, use this plan that works very well:
-
Take all civilians you can horde as hostages into an area that is dotted
with LTTE Terrorists and deadly terror hardware. Falsely claim that these
civilians want to die with you for a totally lost cause. Use the artillery
setup right among the civilian population to fire at the military with
absolutely no regard for human life. If the military retaliates, as you would
hope, they will unintentionally kill a few civilians. Then you are in luck!
-
Use your global propaganda machine to generate artificially inflated
causalities and spread this false information vigorously. Use your allies
inside the UN, HRW and AI to promote your agenda like they have done for the
last 25 years. Fact: HRW and AI got all their information and images from
the Tamil Tiger Terrorists. These rights groups have never shown any
independently authenticated reports or images about this conflict that
truly puts the Sri Lankan at fault in any way. So where is integrity?
-
If you conduct these operations well, everyone will conveniently forget that
you the LTTE Terrorists are the most barbaric force active today and call for
a pause in the fighting. Then use the pauses to reinforce your defenses to
return with even deadlier force. That will enable you to continue the carnage,
all thanks to everyone so concerned about civilians and human rights!
Consider this: Mr. Michael Radu of the Foreign Policy Research Institute said
this about our world: "The latter (Western donors), as usual, are themselves
"sensitive" to the enormously effective, and wealthy, pro-LTTE Tamil diaspora
and the international "human rights" lobbies-such as AI and HRW. Each of
those, over time and for its purposes, acted to prolong the conflict, protect
the LTTE, and thus have more Sri Lankans killed…" Please read the entire

If you fund politicians wisely, they too will join in the game to assist by
calling for a cease-fire. Examples are: U.S. Secretary of State Hillary
Rodham Clinton, the Foreign Minister of Canada Lawrence Cannon, British
Foreign Secretary David Miliband and even the Prime Minister of Britain
Gordon Brown. Consider this: "US Lawmakers with ties to LTTE money" at
Island reports: Lawmakers with ties to LTTE money
Let's admit this, even if it is really hard and painful: the Sri Lankan
government is smarter and wiser that all of these governments and
agencies. That is why it wants to get rid of the LTTE. On the other
hand, everyone you mentioned who care so much about civilians and
calling for a pause in the fighting are connected to the LTTE and
their front organizations in the US, UK, Norway, Tamil Nadu - India,
Canada, EU, South Africa (where the LTTE maintains a well-established
base & home to Navanethem Pillai, UN High Commissioner for Human
Rights) and the UN. Ever heard of conflict of interest?
